They're sure to spark some great idea's and get your DIY juices flowing!

Rustic Look - Incorporate rustic/old items to decorate your bird house and add natural touches by using pine cones, stone/rocks, and sticks.

Put your bird pal's rainy day worries at ease with a dry and solid roof by using scrap metal or pieces of old shingles.
After a long day of flying around town, your birdy friends would love a shaded landing spot to chill. Think outside the box, use a door hinge as a mini awing over top of the entrance way.

Make it unique! Be creative!

Have an old door knob, kitchen cabinet metal handle, or a towel/coat hook? Use it as a unique bird perch. Add decorative and artistic touches by spray painting pine cones or hot gluing pretty coloured pebbles/beads to the base or walls.
*FYI TIP* Try using recycled items like wine bottle corks or bottle caps, old shiny coins and pieces of coloured glass.

Creative & Artistic Look - You may have a detailed and themed style of bird house in mind which could have several detailed and particular pieces included. Are you an outrageous/fearless DIY'er and in love with using bold bright colours that'll give your bird house a pop! Paint your entire bird house a solid striking colour.

*FYI TIP* Make them enjoyable for your bird buds to live in and enjoyable for you!

What about having a hilarious and comical look.
Paint an animal face on the front of your bird house!
